During the time in which you have made inquiry for purchase or lease of a motor vehicle or other product or service sold by us, we may have collected non-public personal information about you from the following sources:
  • Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;
  • Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates or others; and
  • Information we receive from non-affiliated third parties, including a consumer reporting agency.

We take your privacy very seriously. We share a commitment to protect your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal and financial information. We restrict access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical electronic and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard your non-public personal information.

As part of marketing our products and services, we sometimes hire companies to provide services for us to you. We may disclose all of the information we collect, as described above, to companies that perform these marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements. we require these companies to use this information that we collect, as described above, to our affiliates or to non-affiliated third parties. We may disclose non-public personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.

We may disclose non-public personal information about you to the following types of third parties:

  • Financial service providers, such as a financial institution similar to the company which has financed your purchase or lease, or insurance companies or insurance agents similar to the company which has insured your motor vehicle, life or heath, or issued an accident insurance policy, asset protection policy or extended service coverage; and
  • Non-financial companies, such as the manufacturer of the product which you have purchased or leased, or other service or product you  have acquired, to inform them of the transaction, so as to implement and provide to you other notices of services which they may provide to you as a result of your purchase or lease, and to implement any coverage or warranty regarding the product.

If you prefer that we do not disclose non-public personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law), you may do so by picking up the unfair credit report opt-out request form at the dealership.
